Born as Art Collage Workshop
Children ages 8–12 are invited to explore creativity and self-expression in this hands-on mixed-media collage workshop. Participants are encouraged to bring existing artworks and photos from home, which they’ll combine with various mediums. Each child will also have the option to incorporate simple personal astrology or birth-chart details into their piece, adding a unique, reflective layer to their artwork.
Every participant will leave with a beautifully framed, meaningful piece of art to proudly display at home. Led by artist and photographer Brent Harrewyn, this workshop celebrates imagination, identity, and the confidence-building belief that we are all natural born artists.
If families prefer not to use original pieces or don’t have printed photos available, Brent can print scans of existing artworks and digital photos in advance for their child to use. The workshop will culminate in a small collective exhibit, showcasing the group’s finished pieces together as a shared creative experience.
