After School Art

LOVE TO LEARN

After School Art offers students discourse and activities which will deepen their knowledge and understanding of the history and methods of art-making in British Columbia.

This program is made possible through the generosity of Allen Bell and Ola Dunin-Bell.

Through these sessions, students will gain:

An understanding of different ideas, materials & techniques used in carving, painting, and photography.
An appreciation for the continuity and change of artistic styles over time.
An appreciation for the socio-historical and cultural contexts
of artworks.
An awareness of the diverse art forms in British Columbia.
An awareness of cultural and artistic exchange in British Columbia.

Winter Session Registration

Dates & Times

Throughout January, February, and March, sessions will run from 3:00pm to 4:30pm.

The Winter Sessions includes six classes per age group. Register for a three-class pack or purchase a drop in class.

K-2 Dates: January 9, January 25, February 6, February 20, March 6, March 22
3-6 Dates: January 11, January 23, February 8, February 22, March 8, March 13

Price

$36.00 per student // 3-class pack

$15.00 per student // Drop-in class
