The Audain Art Museum is grateful to be on the shared, unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Nation and Lil̓wat7úl (Lil’wat) Nation.
Tickets may be purchased in advance online for a contactless payment experience. Admission can also be purchased in person, upon arrival where debit or credit card payment is encouraged. Booking in advance is not required. Proof of vaccination is not required for entry into the Museum, reduced entry capacity has been implemented to enable physical distancing, you may be issued a scheduled admission time.

Plan Your Visit
We want to ensure that you have a positive experience when visiting the Audain Art Museum. Please be sure to check our special hours and holidays for potential early closure due to special events. We care about you and your safety. All visitors are asked to self assess before visiting the Museum. Please stay at home if you are sick or feeling unwell.
Personal Items
We encourage you to leave your valuables, large bags, pets, and other personal belongings at home. The following personal items are not permitted in the Galleries:
- backpacks (any size)
- large bags or shopping bags
- food, bottled water or other beverages
- umbrellas
- tripods, monopods, selfie-sticks
- skateboards, skis, snowboards, roller-skates & ski boots
- walking sticks with metal ends
- flowers or plants
- animals and pets (see below for service animals)
Animals and pets are not permitted in the building, including Cressey Hall and the Museum Shop. Dogs may not be left unattended on the porch, or tied to the porch railing.
For your convenience, these items can be stored in our cloakroom free of charge.
Museum Conduct & Etiquette
- Do not touch or make contact with the works of art on display and maintain a distance of 2 feet.
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Children are not permitted on the shoulders of another person or in a backpack carrier. Front carriers are permitted.
- Visitors are asked to refrain from shouting, running and rowdy behaviour.
- Profane language is not permitted.
- Please turn your cell phone to the “silent” or “vibrate” setting and be considerate of other when using your phone. Audible music is not permitted.
- Bikes are not permitted inside the building or locked to the Museum’s porch railing. A bike rack is located under the building.
- Dogs may not be left unattended on the porch, or tied to the porch railing.
Visitor Assistance & Accessibility
- Service animals are welcome in the Museum. Each animal requires registered documentation and must be clearly identified by visual indicators such as a vest or harness.
- Strollers, motorized scooters and wheelchairs are permitted at a walking pace
- Lost and Found is administered through the admissions desk. Contact [email protected] or 604.962.0413 ext 109 with inquiries.
The Museum is a wheelchair accessible institution. Wheelchairs are available to visitors on a first-come first-served basis. Accessible parking is located at the north end of Day Lot Parking 3 and at the south end of Day Lot Parking 4. Wheelchair access is available via the street-level main entrance on Blackcomb Way. A five minute drop off zone is also available in front of the Museum on Blackcomb Way.
Photography
Flash photography is not permitted in the Museum. Non-flash photography and videos are permitted for personal use only (Special exhibitions may have additional restrictions). Please note all professional and commercial photography and filming must be booked in advance, please contact [email protected] with inquiries.

The Museum is centrally located in Whistler Village
in between Municipal Parking lots 3 and 4.
Parking is available with a seasonal pricing structure.

The drive from Downtown Vancouver to Whistler is approximately one hour and 40 minutes along the picturesque Sea to Sky Highway. Please note that winter tires are required between October 1 and March 31. Information related to current road conditions can be found on the Drive BC website.
