Welcome the winter season with an immersive sound bath led by Nancy Trueman of True North Sound Studio, set within the Gordon Smith Mezzanine and the evocative exhibition Solstice: Through Storm and Stillness.
As the winter solstice invites us to embrace the quiet, reflect, and find stillness amid the darknes. This restorative experience offers an opportunity to slow down, settle into the present moment, and reconnect through the soothing vibrations of sound. Surrounded by art and atmosphere, allow resonant tones and gentle soundscapes to guide you into a state of relaxation and contemplation.
Guests are invited to bring a blanket, mat, and pillow to create a comfortable space to rest and fully enjoy this meditative experience.
Join us for an evening of calm, reflection, and renewal as we honour the changing season through art, sound, and stillness.
Admission to the Museum is included day-of, from 11am-5pm.
