This self-guided audio tour introduces nine key works from the collection and the artists behind them. With your own headphones, listen as Dr. Curtis Collins, Executive Director, guides you through paintings, carvings, and sculptures. Follow along in the Go Whistler tour app to read more about each artist and their practice.

Enjoy a personalized Museum experience tailored to your group’s interests. Private Guided Tours offer the opportunity to explore the Permanent Collection, Special Exhibitions, or Museum architecture alongside expert curatorial staff or Docents, with space for deeper conversation, questions, and a more flexible pace. Tours are available in English or French.
Docent Tour
From $150.00 + GST
Explore the stories, techniques, and cultural context behind works in the Permanent Collection and Special Exhibitions, or the highlights of the Museum’s architecture, with the Museum’s knowledgeable Docents.
Choose from three experiences:

Tour price is $150 + GST for each group up to 15 people, plus the cost of admission.
Outside of regular operating hours, tour price is $250 + GST, plus the cost of admission.
Curatorial Tour
$350 + GST
Enjoy a unique curatorial perspective with a member of the Museum’s curatorial staff and explore the rich history of various art traditions represented in the Special Exhibitions or Permanent Collection.
This ever-evolving tour is uniquely tailored to every exhibition, and examines the themes and motivations behind the work on display, as well as the selected artists being showcased.
Tour price is $350 + GST per group, plus the cost of admission.

Executive Director or Chief Curator Tour
$500 + GST
Join Executive Director Dr. Curtis Collins or Gail & Stephen Jarislowski Chief Curator Kiriko Watanabe for an in-depth exploration of the Museum’s Permanent Collection or Special Exhibitions, with exclusive behind-the-scenes access.
These curator-led experiences offer historic narrative and first-hand insight into how exhibitions are developed, along with the ideas and decisions that shape each exhibition.
Tour price is $500 + GST per group, plus the cost of admission.
