Join the Museum for the Audain Long Table Dinner en Blanc this Summer

August 7, 2026

Experience an unforgettable summer evening of art, conversation, and cuisine at the Audain Long Table Dinner en Blanc — two elegant outdoor dinners on August 15 and September 5, 2026, set against the spectacular backdrop of Whistler.

Guests are invited to dress en blanc and gather beneath the summer sky for a celebration inspired by the work of renowned Canadian artist Takao Tanabe. The evening begins with welcome refreshments and exclusive after-hours access to Takao Tanabe: 100 Inside Passage, allowing you to explore the exhibition at your own pace. For deeper insight, join a special guided tour led by Executive Director, Dr. Curtis Collins, and Gail & Stephen Jarislowsky Chief Curator, Kiriko Watanabe, as they illuminate Tanabe’s artistic legacy and the themes shaping the show.

Dinner is presented by Collective Kitchen, whose seasonal, thoughtfully crafted menu translates the colours, textures, and landscapes of the Inside Passage into contemporary West Coast cuisine. Each course is designed to echo Tanabe’s palette and atmosphere, turning the meal itself into an artistic experience where creativity is shared around one long table.

This summer’s installment of the Artist Dinner Series promises an intimate, refined evening where art, food, and conversation come together beneath the stars. For tickets, seating details, and any accessibility or dietary enquiries, please visit the Audain Art Museum website or contact the museum directly.
